I got mine tonight. Heckuva machine for the money. I just sold my old Compaq 233 Pentium for $275 at E*ay, so this is like trading even up.

I just check for items once in a while and take them to the cashier and ask him for a price. Whenever I see an older item I just do that.
sometimes the CSR themselfes didn't know about the new price until they rang it up for me.

Nice deal. As much as I'd like to upgrade my 'puter asap, I think I am gonna hold off for awhile. I keep reading about how all the computer companies were stating that they had lower sales than expected this past quarter. It's just a hunch, but I bet that there's gonna be some great computer deals later this month to get rid of the extra inventory.

RossMAN, I had the customer service guy check that store, and they've all sold.

AlphaVMS and everyone else ... If you call the OD 800 customer service phone number they will say they are out of stock for the entire country which is NOT true. Since this product is discontinued all it shows on their system is they won't be getting any more in stock. Call individual stores and have them check the stock within your region. I've found 1 or 2, here and there.

This is a great price.

He spent about twenty minutes on the phone with me checking all the stores in the Dallas area, plus a couple of other stores that I saw listed in this thread.
