Yea, I meant Staples. Sorry about that. I went to both yesterday. But the deal is at Staples. There was a sign near the laptops that mention the 20% off. The guy told me not to get something too expensive because they might say no. It works for desktops as well.

Also to the guy above that asked, 2Gb makes a big difference. I just upgraded mine yesterday, and yes you will have to find somewhere to unload the 512's. I'd hold on to them and when memory goes back up they might be worth $20.

I got mine at Outpost for $24 for 2Gb and they work great. I got free shipping, but that has went away now.

I have this same basic laptop Compaq 572US only it had an 80gb drive at the time and the CD/DVD burner is not lightscribe everything else is the same and I've had it since May 07 and I paid basically the same price maybe a little less as I used a $20 off $100 coupon. I also got the free printer and I have never used it, never taken it out of the box even. I should EBay it as I am sold on laser printers, and Inkjets cost too much for ink.
