Compaq Driver

I reformated a Compaq SR1750NX machine and did clean install. after applied all the drivers I could found, there is still one "unknow device" under the "Other devices" type. the Device Instance ID is ACPI\AWY0001\2&DABA3FF&0. I know it has something to do with Away Mode device. but have no idea what device it is. any suggection?

I'm assuming your installing XP. If so did you install SP2 onto it also? I've seen it a few times when I add SP2 to a machine that still has an "unknown device" it will find it and install the necessary drivers after SP2.

Yes, I installed XP Pro with SP2. And did all the updated. But the OS still can not find a driver for ir.
