Staples has the HP/Compaq CQ50-130US for $429 - $30 Rebate this week. I played around with it at the store a bit.
It uses INTEL 4500GMA video and has 2GB ram. Performance seemed to be pretty good. It gets a VISTA rating of 3.5
With memory being so cheap these days, pumping it up to 4 should give it a good boost.
It does needs to be de-junked of the usual HP demoware. It seemed well worth the $$$, so I bought one as a donation for my local Animal Shelter.
