companies to look into in the Washington D.C. area?

I would like to get into (strategy/technology) consulting but my university doesn't receive much attention from consulting firms...
I am also not a U.S. citizen yet which makes it difficult to land jobs requiring security clearance

I really want to work in the D.C. metro area... any places where I should submit my resume?

i put my resume up on monster 2 days ago and have 20+ calls from different companies.

I'm a permanent resident... so I'm still qualified for all jobs but not the ones requiring a security clearance


who were some of the companies that contacted you? is it worth posting my resume on monster? I feel like most of them will be sales or some positions that I have no interest in.. just a waste of time putting my resume up there

Heh, I work alongside EDS over here.

They?re a joint Tier 1 partner with the company I work for who are part of a consortium that holds the defence contract for the MoD.

well having my clearance helps

but they were all the major contractors, Booz Allen, Lockheed Martin, Boeing..

and these were all IT positions.

Monster has been kind to me.
