Can't game with a touchpad, so I'm gonna be buying another mouse. I don't want something huge but the "notebook" mice from logitech and microsoft dont have side buttons. I may break down and get one of those twio but I wa wondering what else is out there. Any suggestions?

Well the best two I have used are the Logitech MX700 and the Microsoft Intellimouse. Both wireless of course. These are bigger in form though so they may not be what you are looking for.

I use a mx700 for my pc now. It is quite big, and another device eating batteries is not what I'm looking for.

i have. microsoft has some strange looking ones with side buttons.
the mice are curved oddly, which makes me wonder "why?"

nevermind, not small at all. in fact, they are VERY large.

I've been using a Logitech Traveler mouse for over a year now been very happy with it. Sure no side buttons but who needs them anyway?

yeah the logitech mouseman traveler is what I'm probably what I'll end up getting. I'll have to adapt I guess :/
at least it will match my M:355 well :)

I have seen some of those mouse track ball things that goes on your finger like a ring. Might be interesting.

Checkout the A4Tech's they are relatively inexpensive and I've had great luck with them. I use 1 of the mini opticals for not only my note book, but for my 3yr old son so it fits his hand properly :)

Kensington makes a neat little optical mouse with a retractable cord. I've gamed with it before and it works quite well.
