OK, long time, no see, but still....

I have gotten the SSD and the OS (Win 7 home, meh)...

I have also found a pretty well rated board, but I was wondering what you all thought. It is a bit more than the original you recommended, but I was wondering if it fit the SilverStone still good for this?

Here's a link to the board I am looking at... As I assemble this puppy I am getting in a bit more of a rush to get everything before what I bought depreciates too much...but anyway:

TIA!

The Silverstone is mini-ITX, that is a micro-ATX so it's too big.

Also, people are claiming that Silverstone shipped a bad batch of 450 watt PSUs in the SG05/-06 so you might want to move up to the 07 or try to find out if that has been fixed yet.

Yeah, too big. You can either go with a smaller board or get a slightly larger, m-atx case.

So, lemme get this strait....

Micro is larger than Mini?

Forgive me for being surprised. I guess English is not a pre-requisite for electronics manufacturers..... 😛

No, ITX form factor is smaller than ATX form factor.

A micro-SUV or micro-freight-truck would be larger than a mini-cooper

Gotcha. I may be on here later with a few more based off of some sales/codes from Newegg (72 hour).

Thanks for your help! (I was hoping the Mini would work, seeing the 4 dimm slots.......

K, everything is in and assembled.... EXCEPT an adapter for the SlimLine drive.....

Figures. Ordered one from NewEgg last Wednesday and still waiting for delivery. As if DHL was not bad enough, swapping out to the USPS for local....

Irony? Their switching station is right in my town. It has been sitting in a warehouse less than 2 miles from me for the past 4 days and there is no way for me to pick it up.... 😛
