compact flash

I just recently got a digital cam that uses compact flash. I also got a usb compact flash card reader by pny. All the images I take come up nice when I preview them on the cam's lcd screen, however, 80% of them are all scrambled when viewing them on my card reader from the computer. It must be the reader...right? I don't think it would be the card itself since the images are correct on the cam's lcd. I'm going to return the pny for a sandisk one. The card is sandisk also. Anyone else had this problem?

That is surely the fault of the reader. I had to toss a perfectly good Lexar Combo reader (C/F and S/M) because it would not work in XP at all. Lexar sent me a couple of driver files to try and they resulted in the only BSOD I've ever had from XP. 🙂

Anyway, there are so many good readers out there for reasonable proces . . . SanDisk works well, and so do the new Memorex ones.
