i was wondering... im about to buy a cf card and reader from new egg , and i was reading some reviews and some people were having problems getting Mr. Flash cf cards to work with kodaks (i got the dc3200) , is there proof of this or is it luck of the draw?

and the other question was about sandisk, apparently they are slowest cf cards out there?

and.... does anybody have this cf usb reader
link

the mr flash cf 64mb is 24
the sandisk is 30
and the usb reader is 13
+ neweggs crazy shipping prices

thanks!

dont skimp on the CF, make sure you get a reputable brand. CF is so cheap these days, like i paid $130 for a 64MB cf card 2 years ago (the going rate at the time).

I have read about the Mr. Flash problems with some cameras too, however most people seem to be happy with it. Check out www.dpreview.com for a good site about digital cameras and compact flash. More expensive flash is just faster and you should ask yourself if you need that speed. Most reviews show Sandisk as very slow CF, but again does it really matter to you?

I don't know about the Kodak issue, but MrFlash sometimes disappears on my wife's HP Jornada and she has to remove the card and reinsert it.
