Compact Disc Repair??

I found one of my favorite CD's in the back of my closet. But now it's all scratched up and two of the tracks skip ALOT! Is there anyway I could use some stuff laying around the house to fix my CD? Or should I just go out and buy a Disc Doctor? I'm broke until the 5th of Feb. I was thinking I could wax the CD with some S100 paste.....

That paste crap has never worked for me. It looks like it works... but it never fixed the big scratches. All I remember about it was that is smelled like diesel fuel.

Try some car wax. Specifically Zaino Z5. It takes the scratches out of all of my friends older iPods.
The CD is damaged, so it won't work. But thanks for the advice.
