Comp won't start. PS or case?

Lately it's getting harder to start up one of my computers. I have to hit the power button several times to get it to fire up. Once it starts everything is fine, it's just the power up that's a problem. So is my PS dying or the case?

A case doesn't control power on/off. The power supply, motherboard, and Power button + leads do. So this thread is kind of in the wrong section, but in any case I believe there is a way to start your computer without the button by using spare jumpers on the front pins I believe, i forgot how really so you may want to google or ask something about this. There is also the paper clip trick with the power supply...

You can tell if it is your switch if you swap the switch plug on the mobo with the reset plugs. Your reset should now work as power. You can also jump the pins on the mobo with a screwdriver after pulling the switch wires if you have a steady hand.
Do not use a jumper as these switches are single pole / temporary, they are not meant to carry steady current. They are only meant to send a signal to a relay while you have your finger on the button.

Is your MOBO a DFI Lanparty SLI-DR?

If it is, then google, DFI Cold Bug. I had to replace one of my boards because it caught it.
