ok i as fiddling with the bios. and now the comp wont start. i mean hit the power switch and the monitor is blank. there is no sound at start up which means the computer is not even booting correctly.

in the BIOS, its an Award BIOS, i changed the video aperture size from 64 megs to 128 megs. i changed the SDRAM clock from 66 MHz to 133 MHz and i changed one more thing that i dont recall. this is an old computer more than 3 yrs old.

i dont know the exact model of the mobo is but i know its make is Biostar. and its running a AMD K6II 450 Mz w/3D Now. i know there is a way to reset the bios with the help of jumpers. please please can someone tell me how to do this and of the many which jumper do i reset and where do i look for it on the mobo and how do i reset it.

i need this comp working before moday. since i am using an office comp right now at home which needs to be returned on monday.

many many thanks in advance

ok i fixed. i dont belive this. within 10 mins of posting this. i went to the biostart website. looking at the archives section of the manuals and lots of digging into memory i recalled the model name to be M5SAB. looked up the manual and it had a neat diagram with clear instructions on how to reset CMOS data. went ahead and did it. its only 5.15 am and have been up all night. i am the man aint i!!!
