I figured out a rather ingenious solution. I would alternate play between both sticks of RAM, sure enough, the first one I played with restarted my computer within minutes. Popped in the other stick and booyah! Smooth as ice. Farcry, Doom 3, Splinter Cell all run like mad! The only problem is the incompatibility with some games since I'm running damn near top of the line GFX card, some games don't support it's features correctly. Splinter Cells got some GFX problems with Radeons, such as blocky features and graphics. All in all, this thing fn*ckin' rules! I am so glad that it was a simple fix and nothing more. Thanks for your help guys.

😎 I'm glad it works. It's funny that Memtest didn't find any errors, but you have to go with what works. If it works, it's good. Now you get to have RMA fun! Will the joy never cease?

I have a rather odd question to ask you though. Now that I'm returning the RAM, do I return both sticks or the one defective stick?

Also, since my computer currently has one 512mb RAM stick in it, will the pair of 512s be a big boost on games or what?

Most companies would just ask for the defective stick, but call customer service and ask. Who knows, if you're really lucky, they might cross-ship (but don't count on it.🙂) Make sure you follow their procedures carefully. RMA's are a pain under the best circumstances.
