comp building dilemma

I was working on a comp, then i stopped for about a month or a month and a half and now I wanna get back into building it, right now I have:

tower- cooler master cavalier

motherboard- ABIT KV8 Pro

disk drive- rosewill combo 52x DVD rom

hard drive- Seagate Barracuda 160gb



im gonna get:

1. Is this a good setup still and is it worth still building on?
2. what kind of video card should I get with it?

Nice case, what monitor do you got? If it's good and you wanna game on it a lot spend some dough on the 7800GT or X1800. Otherwise go medium-grade and get an 6800GT or X800XL and maybe a nice, low response time flat panel.

well, I dont have a monitor yet, but christmas is close hehe. I will definitely take those vid cards into consideration, do some research.

also: do you think the system would be good if it had all that?
