My son has a computer that was running fine and then it just shut down. Now when you try to start it turns on for a second then shuts off. I have cleared the cmos, no help.

Specs:
Intel 3.2
Abit Max 2
Enermax 420w 2 months old.
Radeon 9700 pro
corsair 1gig
XP Pro
Santa Cruz

Starts to boots then shut off. Does it sound like a power supply problem? I have re-seeded all cards and mem sticks.

Yes. I took one out of mine and she boots just fine. The PSU is not even 3months old. Enermax 420w. to bad I have had good luck with Enermax. I bought from newegg wonder if enermax has a warranty?
