Comodo Personal Firewall

Just want to get some opinions on how you guys like it if you've used it.
I have used it for quite a while now and I think it's pretty good for a free product.

I use it on my desktop and I like it but when I installed it on my ex-wife's Thinkpad recently, it totally rendered it unbootable due to a conflict with the Client Security Software. We had to restore to factory spec from the Thinkpad hidden partition and she lost a bit of data.

I liked it with XP alot. Tossed it for Vista's firewall due to redundancy though.

I switched to Comodo from Kerio 215 and am finally just using XP's built in firewall.

At this site's testing, you can see that Comodo outperforms nearly every other firewall tested. Now, that's just one site, but those are some pretty good results.

It's fairly good, though you may want to disable the proactive defence. It will nag you for EVERY system request such as a DLL being unloaded, a registry key access etc. Basically any program you open you get at least 10 prompts. After a while it learns them and I can see how this can be very good to prevent suspicious activity but it might be a little much for some people. The network portion is what I use it for, mostly for outgoing. I want to know when an app is calling home, so I can block it unless it does in fact need the internet.

I have used Comodo and find it pretty good...however I agree with RedSquirrel...just install the "Firewall" only...otherwise it is annoying.
