Once again I cleaned my computer desk and monitor screen ("ewww", exact quote from my girlfriend).
And now time once again I herald to you my fellow Techer's to clean your monitor, shake the keyboard upside down or vacuum it with the hair-like extension, put the cd's in the holder, toss the floppys in the second drawer (you still have these for what??????), open the mouse and clean the ball -scrape the rods on the inside from the lint buildup. But most importantly...go out and buy some of those electrical wire plastic tie-offs, the kind that you pull through the loop and cut. Get behind the desk and start wrapping all those wires into coils! I did this last night and can now safely place my feet under the desk without fear of electrocution. I also found a few serial cables and Cat-5's I was missing. And a pack of cigarettes which I am enjoying right now
