Anyone ever notice all our old "favorites" comedian style actors (I was always a Chevy Chase fan) get old and bitter? Or were they always that way?

The polls are split to two extremes on Chevy, there was nobody neutral about him. About half his former co-workers loved him and half thought he was the biggest asshole in the history of television. I read Tom Shales book about SNL and apparently Chevy acted professionally and kindly towards people he liked, respected or thought were talented and everyone else was beneath contempt and he treated them like dirt.

And he was right to hate the character of Pierce. He was pretty much just set dressing, I'm sure he wanted to have more to do and better lines. But he should have handled it with more class.
 
I won't miss Chevy's character. He's right, Pierce had run his course. I'd rather see more of the other characters. Even some of the small time characters like Garrett, Magnitude, and John Goodman.
 
Does this mean we can get Dan Harmon back? Please? Seriously didn't he get Harmon fired and now he jets too? *sigh*
 
Man I wish Chase had left the show back in Season 1. Him, Chang, and the intro song are the only irritating things about Community.

I think Chang has some really good moments in the show. Pierce does too, but I won't miss him that much.

I love Alison Brie so much. She is teh cuteness.

they should do a big reveal where they tear off a chevy mask and confirm that Pierce has been played by tyler perry this entire time. Then at the end of episode tear off tyler perrys mask and reveal its been oprah all along.
