I prefer homing pigeons, but you have to watch out for the extra "messages" that they leave behind.. 😉

If you really do have an emergency that requires an immediate response from the person at work, call their supervisor and let them know that you have an emergency and need to speak to the person. Otherwise, do as ch33zw1z said and wait until they are on a break.
