"Hi,

I don't know if people remember me, but I was the climateprediction.net administrator a year ago, and now I'm doing a research project looking at how computer games can be used to communicate climate change issues.

I need willing volunteers to take part in this unique study!

We want you to play "Climate Challenge", an online game about climate change, funded by the BBC, and using scientific advice from climate scientists working on climateprediction.net, and to take an online survey about the game, as part of a study for Oxford University.

To make things a little more interesting, everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two IPod Shuffles and an IPod Nano!

Please follow this link to take part:
http://survey.red-redemption.com/survey/index.php?sid=13

And when you've taken part, please forward it on to everyone else you think would be

interested in playing the game!

About "Climate Challenge":
"Ever wanted to see if you could do a better job of tackling climate change and managing your country? Well now you can with "Climate Challenge". You get to guide your country through from 2000 - 2100 and make the choices that could make the difference between a safe or dangerous future for humanity. Built on the real science of climate change, "Climate Challenge" gives you the chance to take the hotseat."

Many thanks,

Hannah

Wow.

I did the survey and played the game. But that took me almost 45 minutes. I mean, their idea is great, it just take too much time to do the whole survey. But the game was REALLY good in my opinion.

Thx for the link Andy!

Hmm. Play games and have a chance to get free stuff at the same time...? Sounds like a winner to me! :D

Thank you, it took me 3 times playing not to get thrown out of office and to complete the game at a positive level lol

I thoroughly enjoyed it :p
