Commercial carpet cleaning business.

You'd want to check on insurance. I'd probably want to carry half a million, maybe more.

Otherwise as far as carpet cleaning in specific.....Not a clue.

I hate carpets. I like a nice smooth floor.
Me to. Just had some of the floors redone and the floor guy explained the problem with rugs to the wife. Win for me.

For sure. Then there's license, chemicals, disposal of waste water, transporting the above, guberment regulations.......WTH am I thinking?

Looking for a new business. I've got a customer with a lot of experience doing the work but nothing else.

My wife did house cleaning in the off season. Might think about giving that a go. You can use OTC chemicals which removes a lot of the licensing concerns.

Definitely looking for van/equipment/+....investment $25K+. Much rather pay someone that knows what they're doing.

The loan office is my bread and butter.😀

You don't have to start off big. I started a handy man business with a 1300 dollar truck and $600 worth of tools. I've been at it a year and a half. I still work apartment maintenance part time and im not 100% legit. I have two trucks and thousands of dollars in tools now. I'm just now getting to the point where I have so many customers my job is cutting into getting the real money.

I didn't own much more than the truck and tools though. If I had burnt down a house what were they going to sue me for a rusty old pick up truck? If you have a house and such id be more inclined to get the liability insurance at least.

i dont know anything about it other than what ive learned from the stanley steamer commercials. apparently a good carpet cleaner needs to know the difference between a stain left by a llama and one left by an alpaca. my favorite one is where the stanley steamer guy is laying on the ground "groutwhispering". hope that helps!!!

My dad's been in the upholstery & duct cleaning business for about 30 years.
He had a business about 10 years ago, but had to shut down while going through crisis. He's finally got his duct truck up & running again so he's going to pick back up on his business, soon as paper work is sorted out.
I don't know much about running the business. But I've been helping him get cards, BS promo shit made up & get ads put out.
