hi, i've bene lookign at this digital camera for a while, i would like to know if anyone has it and what they think of it. I found a store selling it brand new and stuff for 359.99 + tax (Canadian)

I just got mine today. I payed $312.85 shipped for the camera and a 256meg Olympus xD card at NewEgg (though that probably doesn't help you in Canada).

Since I just got it I can't give you much of a review yet. But so far playing around with it has led me to believe I made the right choice (I checked reviews for quite awhile before deciding on it). Two of the main features for me were the small size and the weatherproofing. I have heard its not the greatest for indoor pics though. But the few I have taken so far look fine. And I mainly bought it as an outside camera anyways.
 
yeah size is an important thing for me, i was looking for something i could throw into my pocket with ease, and waterproofing make sense.

i have one question for ya, is the front sliding cover good? is it metal or plastic? these sliding ones are good cause then csn really save your lens....

The cover seems fine. I think its metal. I only say "think"because with the finish its kinda hard to tell. But I am pretty sure its metal just like the body, with the exception of the Olympus logo part which is definetly plastic. And its definetly small enough to fit in your pocket.

i can get it for 239.95 usd and if i change that to cad it liek real close to 300 i think
