I?m planning a small Linux (Redhat)/PHP/Apache/MySql web server, with emphasis on DB access and displaying of (mostly) small thumb-print from a very large amount of different images on the disk.
* I?m not going to do any overclocking.
* I?m going for a no hassle Linux installation. Known drivers. Etc.
* Noiseless is good.

CPU: Opteron 170
> For the dual core. The Opteron is very slightly more expensive compared to the similar line of Athlon 64 X2, but is targeted for the server line. Beyond that I don?t know what differentiates the Opteron and e.g. Athlon 64 X2 4400+? Actually the whole Athlon line-up confuses me a bit, where you have a double core 4400+ selling for about the same price of a single core FX 51 - but the FX 51 with half the L2 cache, and a FX 57 with only about 30-40% clock increase but in a single core selling for about the twice the amount of a double core 4400+?

MB: A-Bit KN8 Ultra:
> Going by Ars Technica recommendation. Don?t know anything beyond that.

Video: ATI Radeon 9200
> Nothing fancy here. Just a cheap and fanless card.

Memory: 2x1GB Corsair, PC2-3200
> Corsair for their good reputation.

Hard Drive: 2xSeagate Barracuda 7200.9 SATA, 250GB
> Segate for the low noise generation. Two for a RAID-0 installation. Data protection is not particular important.

Optical drive: Phillips DVDR1660K DVD RW/CD R
> For no particular reason. I guess I could use the DVD W to a bit of backup.

Case: Antec SLK-3000B-EU
> Ars Technica recommendation. Could use some more buck here. But don?t know what to go for.

Other:
I had thought of going for some water-cooling installation to reduce noise further. But don?t know if it?s going to make a difference. And what to look for in that case-

Anything I forgot? Cables? Can these items be brought together to a system, and can I figure out how to do it?

Thanks
