Hi.
I would appreciate if you can give me your valuable comments on the following proc:
case: P 180B
mobo: Asus P5B Deluxe
CPU: Intel E6400
Mem: Super Talent 2G PC2-5300
Cooler: Scythe Ninja plus.

Currently, I have FSB 400, multiplier 8. Vcore 1.4v, Memcore 2.3v. With this setting, my new computer is 12 hours stable with Orthos. However, the temp is around 60 when loaded.
The temp is little bit higher than I expected but it fails Orthos test when I decrease the Vcore.
Secondly, my ram can do 450FSB with 5-5-5-15 timing. :Q, but it can't go higher than that. My target speed is around 3.4Ghz. Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated. 😉
Thanks,

JJET

Not bad. what week and batch code is your E6400?
To hit 3.4 you might need to bump your vCore to 1.45v if you can and bump up the vFSB and vMCH +0.1 each. You could probably run @ 1:1 425*8 (3.4GHz)/425 (DDR850) 4-4-4-12.
Nice job.

For comparisons, I'm running @ 3.55GHz and I'm not as wary as other OCers so I'm running @ 1.52v and bump it up to 1.58 when stability is key.
My temps at 1.58v are 37/58/63 (idle/Orthos/TAT).

Hmm. You guys have wonderful oc. I need to factor out my cpu capability but do you think my mem is a restriction factor here?
