I have got some very mixed reviews about them. One friend told me he bought some and they worked like crap, many others have told me that they work just fine.

What do you guys think of them?

I'm 2/3rd's thru a 50 pack of them and had zilch for probs. I've burnt mostly data cd's but haven't had any probs with the few music cd's I've made either.

Worked fine for me (the 12X 700MB/80 min discs on a Plextor 12/10/32A). Just copied 15 CDs for use in the car. No problems at all - well, at least not with the discs. Had a problem with Nero doing a CD copy. Nero choked on CD Extra discs while Plextor's Disc Dupe 2000 copied them perfectly. My sister's been using the 8x 650MB discs in an HP 8100 I converted to USB and they also work fine.

i know why people say they are crap for music. my cd players including the ones in the car reads them fine. people must have crappy cheap cd players.
