Comment please on suitability of this power supply:

Power Supply: Therm 470W W0089 @ 40 pounds?

If this is not value then advise best for 40 sterling.

don't know many British online vendors...but the one I do know dabs.com has the Corsair CX400 for about the same price as the Thermaltake TR2 470...and the Corsair is a much better power supply. More modern design which is capable of more 12V output, where you will need it with that Pentium 4.

No contest really.

It was worth a post. I took a look at the CX and I like it. FYI it will cost
me 52 pounds or around $85, but for stability its a must.

Will the CX400 fit into my budget case....sorry cant find the spec for the case , but bare spec states it is an ATX case?
