I'm about to purchase these new parts (anything not listed I'm using my old parts):

AMD® Athlon? 64 - 3200 - 512K L2 Cache (Socket 939) Retail Box
Asus® A8V-Deluxe, Socket 939, VIA® K8T800Pro Chipset w/ 8X AGP (ATX)
2x512Mb DDR SDRAM Ram Module, PC3200
Sapphire® Atlantis Radeon? 9600XT - Radeon? 9600XT VPU w/256Mb DDR AGP TVO
i-Cute® Mid Tower ATX Case w/ 10 Bays w/ Window, w/o Power Supply, Black/Metallic

Does anyone have any last minute comments before I click "purchase"?

Thanks =)

yes you could call it a code name, both AMD and Intel use these "codenames". its only different from the 3200 s939 because its .2 ghz slower, i recommended it because i assumed you were on a budget. i would get the 3000+ socket 939 CPU instead of the 3200+ socket 939, that will save you about $50, put that $50 twards a bettwe video card. for about $205 i would recommend the eVGA 6600GT (make sure it is AGP not PCI-express). in the end it might cost 20-50 dollars more then what you originally had, but it would be well worth it.

that is assuming you are building this computer for games.

I'm building it primarily for home office use with some game playing, but seriously I'm just trying to run Warcraft 3 here; nothing major.

well definitly change that card, its 256MB which is a complete waste, and its not all that fast for its price. buy a ATI 9700 Pro off of ebay for $135. i dont know if i'm allowed to post ebay links on here, otherwise i would link you to one.

in that case that PC you configured is overkill. a $500 system would do all those things and more. you may want to reconsider what you really want to do with your PC and then spit back a budget.

I'm a nerd; I like overkill.

I've switched to a Radeon 9800 Pro... you're right, might as well get the better video card. It's only $50 bucks more where I'm buying it from.

Iam not to wild about your graphics card. Its a last generation card. Either get the ATI X700 or the Nvidia 6600GT. Also the AMD 3500+ is a better CPU. Anyways Good luck with your purchace.
