Hi, just bought the audigy 2,
rite now i have the Z560 4.1 400watt speaker system.

yes, this set of speaker can be very loud and still very clear. very boom too.
but i only have a small room.

the 400watt system is pounding my heart when i turn the volume just above mid level.

i wonder if the Z640 5.1 is better for me?

ya, i do movies, mp3s. but i actually don't need that loud tough.

if i switch back to Z640, will i regret?

i don't have a chance to see Z640, so i am asking ur opinion.

i had a Creative Cambridge FPS2000, but sold to get a new set of speaker.

will Z640 be better than FPS2000? I don't have their specs, all the place(reviews) have its own spec, some say the Z640 has 75watt, some say 51watts.

i just want something that is better than my old FPS2000 , that can manage to do a good/acceptable job at high range(volume).

and limited budget...

gonna get Nokia 6100 so need to save some(off topic) :)

thanks

Unless you need 5.1, stay with the 560's. Even if you don't need so much power, which not many people do, it's always nice to have the option. =) The seperate control center on the 560s is also nice; I'd prefer it over having the controls on the center channel.

suddenly it pop up again, !!

ok.. i still have the z560. ya, i do like the seperate control remote. the color of the light is so attractive too.

but this thingy is very loud. and the bass is infinity. if u play horror movies at nite, be ware of the rear speakers.

i was thinking to sell it... but ... i don't know, very good speaker no reason to sell it.

hahaa

I just got the z640's myself and must say I am enjoying them very much. Cant be beat for $49.41 after rebate.

They are much louder then I need them to be. If I really need LOUD, I will use my 5.1 HT setup with my HDTV :)

I dont know about selling the z560;s, but if u do, I say u will enjoy the z640s for sure.
I certainly do :)
