Passes away at age of 88

Now when I was a kid, like back in the 'Ought-Fourties' they had these 'Movie Matinees' where you could go for like 4 hours for a Quarter
{This was your mother's babysitter)
and watch a bunch of Cartoons, MovieTime News, a Three Stooges short, and a feature which usually was a White Hat/Black Hat Cowboy thing.

There always was a 'Serial' that left you hanging until next week, each episode with the Hero in grave danger with some dreadful thing just happening . . .

I submit for your viewing pleasure RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON - Chapter 1, MOON ROCKET, staring George Wallace as Commando Cody

Commando Cody inspired my interest in aviation - the SciFi thing.

Nice touch, the Wing-Tip shoes as standard issue for his Flight Suit, Classy yet Debonair.

And the OSHA Saftey Standards enacted within the Crew Cabin of the Moon Vehicle, right down to the roll-around Office Chairs.

Bad habits are hard to break.
