Command and Conquer: Renegade:: Coolest game ever! (better than Jedi Knight 2)

Okay.. after about four hours of playing Jedi Knight 2, I got really bored of it - same old crap, no blood, no guts, same old white stormtrooper dorks, blah..


Then I started playing Command and Conquer: Renegade.. This game is SWEET! I'd recommend this over Jedi Knight 2 ten time to one.. Nothing is quite as cool as launching a missle and taking out an enemy helicopter and watching it crash to the ground!

A few things I would change, though:
-make EVERYTHING destroyable - like the damn light posts - why the hell can't they be blown up?
-more blood (I don't really recall seeing any)
-let me jump off the freakin' cliff if I want to jump off the freakin' cliff and splatter on the rocks below - oh yea, and show that splatter too.

hehe.. other than that, awesome game

I never really played the original Command and Conquer - but my roomate (who's played it quite a bit) saw it and started giving me hints.. He said he recognized practically everything.
 
bleh, i liked jk2 wayyyyyy more than renegade, it doesn't have near as good graphics and it has some major bugs espically with nvidia cards.

Everyone did... go get your lightsaber and play from there on. Forget about the first 5 levels.

Back on topic, I didn't like Renegade. Only reason I didn't like it was because I couldn't use the Control key (I believe it was) to crouch down. When setuping the the keyboard layout the Command Key wasn't an option :disgust:

That, my friends, is the reason I test games out before I buy them.
 
I just got Jedi Knight 2, and I like the multiplayer more... If C&C Renegade actually gave you the options of building stuff, then I would like it way more. To me, it's not C&C, just another 3rd person FPS game... Same kinda goes for JK2, but hey... It's new to me 😉

Replace Starcraft with Total Anihilation.

Add Planescape: Torment for best RPG.

Now we are getting somewhere🙂.
