Command and Conquer:Renegade 19.90

I read reviews and it's true some like it, some don't. Very interesting. But at 20 bucks, it's reasonable enough price for me to try for myself.
I love 1st person shooting games!
 
I think the reviewer is a fvcking loser, "headshots are nearly impossible" uh huh yeah sure...Ive been getting them all night long, I guess I was imagining things. And all the weapons are too weak...blah blah, if this guy could aim worth squat he wouldnt have a problem.

Then he goes on to bitch that you cant take out a base as a single infantry person...thats why this is a TEAM game. It's not Quake 3 with destructable buildings.
Id suggest you go read some other reviews before you draw any conclusions.

the game is cool to me just cause i can play characters that's from the command and conquer rts game...
this just adds a little something special to it
 
That firingsquad review is terrible- factually incorrect at times and obviously biased. The reviewer must've had an axe to grind with WW or just came back from losing a game when he decided to write it. I'm no WW fanboy but I thought the gameplay was awesome, hampered only by the excessive lag. Weapon balance is not too bad, because they have a cost system to balance out whether one class or vehicle is better than another. Graphics are not nearly as bad as they are described in the review (Quake 2? Far from it) and even though the single player is cliched and cheesy at times, it's cool at parts.

Either way, ya can't go wrong for $20. Jokersmoker is the man.
 
I'm a beta tester for this game and its really been a lot of fun. And I'm not sure if I'm supposed to but if you buy this game a future update will make it MUCH better

although its still really cool right now. I might buy it for $26 (shipped) I just wish West Wood would have given its beta testers the option to buy it directly from them a tad cheaper than retail. Technically I got the game for free for awhile, but still for all the time and help invested they could have given us a deal instead of us having to find one our selves. Oh well I'm still happy for the experience to beta test and help out, and the game is worth $26, but I don't think ANY game is worth $45-50 retail price.....well that new star wars game coming out soon might be 😀
 
I've played this game... its great... just something abt running over some other dude with a tank.....
 
The patch is available to help the lag issues.
For my information... Can anyone please tell me how to play this on an LAN?? When I try to play, it makes my machine a blue screen "deticated server" and I cannot get past that screen.. I know there's something I'm missing, unless you have to have a server to run other computers in the game..

This is for the multiplayer demo that I downloaded.. I haven't purchased the full game yet. (depends on how good the demo is if I can get past this problem of mine...)
 
I think there's an option somewhere when setting up the server to uncheck the box saying "dedicated server" or something like that. Do that and start it up- you'll need at least one other person in the server to start though.
 
This is the first game in 4+ years that I am actualy considering buying...it sure is fun. And the graphics are most definatly not bad. Maybe they didn't crank up the gfx level from the default settings? I am running it at the highest settings, and I think a lot of the graphics are realy nice. The cut-scenes graphics did leave a lot to be desired though.

I don't know what your beef with this game, or its coders is, but its an excelent deal for $19.90 plus shipping. Having beta tested this game I jumped right on the deal. Since my geforce 4 hasn't arrived yet I started the single player missions on a TNT2 Ultra in 800x600 and the game STILL looks awesome and is extremely fun. Be warned though this deal from gogamer is only for the two CDs and cd key, theres no retail box, or manuals or anything of the sort. All you'll recieve is the two CDs in a jewel case.
