damn, no one from AT really going? 🙁
im telling you, if you hook it up ill be there. there are some movie previews and panels i wouldnt mind going to. i thought atot was like a los angeles street gang, we got each others backs and we'll overlook that whole jumping in and rolling the dice on my girlfriend ordeal in the past.

lol doh 🙁. I don't have connections to get in for free. So I go in like everyone else: pay $35 @ door. 😛

$35 can buy me possibly 2 morning musume singles. no way i'm spending that much on a nerdfest. :Q

I thought tickets were $65 at the door?

whats a morning musume single? if its what i think it is, i think you're nerdier than all the people at comic con combined

I went to ACEN in 05 cuz my friend was an interpiter, basically i drove the japanese guests around and got a lot of good free food.

But i doubt i would ever do it again even if I still lived in Chicago (they did call me this yr)

Just got back!

I'm going. Driving from Phoenix tomorrow morning and only staying a few hours. My entire purpose for going? To meet Jennifer Love Hewitt. 😉

Yes, I'm serious.

Dude, I went to that TVGuide Sci-Fi 2006 and beyond panel as well.

JLH and Hurley (from Lost) looked bored as the other writers for scifi shows kept talking amongst each other.

I have some crappy pics of it, and will post it tomorrow after I go to tomorrow's last day of comic con.

hehe, and Chief Tyrol snuck in during the panel to get some water, and said "blahblah is a cylon!!!" and left.

Comic book girls are so hot!

During my comic book collecting days I used to fantasize about meeting a hot girl who likes comics but every time I go into the "Closet of Comics" store at College Park and see only guys, I realized that my hobby was another lonely hobby in my list of hobbies.

my brother in law had a table (or something) set up at comic con to show off his comics....i probably could've gone if I lived anywhere near California.

who was there for the Frank Miller thingy for 300 on Saturday? Anyone have pics?

i'm sure there are a few but actually finding one and hitting it off is probably very difficult

I have a pic that will disagree w/ that statement somewhat (rare is the word that I cannot dispute, as this is the only case I saw in the yrs I went to comic con) I was talking to a girl and a guy who I would've thought to have been some nerdy couple. The guy is a built black dude from New Jersey, and the girl was a pretty black girl from San Diego. Both were dressed as comic book characters, lol.

I wanted to take a quick pic, and we were doing some small talk. I found out that they just met like 5 minutes ago as people were taking pics of both of them, and both just happened to be next to each other. Both were single, and they appeared to be hitting it off really well. They spent, or said they will, the rest of the con together.

cool

I went on Saturday. Here is a nice pic I took. 🙂

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! I went to wait in line and ZZzzzz for the Masquerade T.T, and only got to see JLH during her panel. doh, man, you got up really close to her booth. Must've been crowded as hell. I remember 2 years ago, me and my friends tried to get close to Jessica Alba, but failed miserably. We only got pictures of her hair rofl.

but damn, that must've been worth the drive from Phoenix. nice. :Q
