Comfortable walking shoe brand that looks OK?

Been walking daily wearing my well worn vans and my ankles and feet are beginning to hurt. I need some shoes with some good support but that look ok for sub-30 year olds, so that I can wear them with a pair of jeans for a casual night out as well. By that I mean rockports seem a bit grandpa, though I find them very comfortable.

I like vans, doc martens, converses but they all lack bridge support

NB 993. Steve Jobs wear them with jean and a black turtle neck. Or you can get some Red Wing boots.

Rockports are excellent if you mean to wear them to any semi-fashionable non-casual event (no, you can not NB or Asics running shoes).

Even something super simple and what I wear to the office every day:

Though I have a slightly different style in brown. I can't imagine wearing anything else since they are so comfortable.

You know, you're right - my assumption about rockports has more to do with my dad wearing old man models, there seems to be a nice variety.
