well?

I know Rockports are lauded for being comfy, but are they best at what they offer?

What other shoes can everyone suggest that are super comfy and look good (in a conservative sense)

Some $30 pair of Deer Stags at JC Penny have been great. 2 pair lasted me about 3 years. Most comfortable dress shoes I've ever worn. Cheap Chinese crap paid off :D

skechers. i wear these both in the office as well as on job sites. very comfortable, and stand up to 12 hour days on concrete, as well as being good in mud/ dirt. im usually horrible on my shoes and went thru them every year, but for some reason the skechers last me 3 or 4 years. also, usually the local store has a buy 1 get 1 half off special, so i got 2 pairs of the ones linked for 79 bucks. the store price on those was 45 bucks, not 80.

Ecco's, Cole Haan's, they're all are comfortable...but if you're serious about a good looking pair of shoes, then you suck it up and who cares about how they feel. I have a pair of Ferragamo's that I couldn't care less how comfortable they are...they look great. :D

This question depends on what type of foot you have. I have flat, wide feet, so the answer for me is "nothing" :D

Ecco and Mephisto come to mind. I've owned a number of pairs of Ecco shoes because of how comfortable they are. I can't stand Kenneth Cole shoes, I think they look nice, but feel horrible.
