Does anyone know the generation numbers for Comet Lake, Cascade Lake and Cooper Lake?

I get that Coffee Lake is 8th gen and that Coffee Lake refresh is 9th gen. User jpiniero tells me that Whiskey Lake and Amber Lake are 8th gen. What about Comet, Cascade and Cooper?

As I mentioned, I think Cascade Lake-X is going to get cancelled. Cooper is server only I imagine.

Comet and Ice are presumably 9th gen mobile. Perhaps it would make more sense if you realized that the 2019 desktop (eg: Coffee Lake Refresh Refresh) is still going to be 9th gen. That's the only logical reason Intel did it that way.

Skylake Refresh Refresh Refresh Refresh

Skylake was released just 3 years ago.

The basic architecture has lasted so long though, and remained at the front of the line.

That's incredible and I want to see what the 9900K can do, but at the same time I really want to see Intel release the next big architecture step.

Can they actually get higher clocks out of Coffeelake at this point? Depending on whom you believe, the power consumption on the 9900k is already quite um. High.

Probably not much from a percentage perspective but doable. Obviously it would need tighter binning and/or improved transistor quality from the respin. And perhaps an AVX2 offset.
