Comedy Central not censored?

Technically, broadcast TV doesn't have to be censored between 10:00PM and 6:00AM, but networks don't want to piss people off, so they censor themselves.

So are you telling me that we may see a new trend of uncensored television on cable tv? Like nudity?

Just imagine what the Man Show could do.

No.. that's why they are showing it LATE. So they don't offend users

i dont think they call them "users" as much as they call them "viewers"

slowsly step away from the admin console and go ride a bike... 😉

Cable is legally allowed to show uncencoerd stuff, they just don't usually do it due to advertising and ratings.

Thumbs up to Comedy Central!

Right on Comedy Central! 😀

Is this becoming a new trend? My wife said she watched Bachelor Party on FX the other night and they showed the uncut DVD version, including boobies, language, etc. Speaking of which, I think it just came on again.... 😀

Yeah, everything in bachelor party was there 🙂.

FX has been pushing the limits for a while now. Their series "The Shield" has pushed the nudity and language boundries far beyond what NYPD did. Hell, even some networks you'd never expect have relaxed their standards now that FX broke the ice. TNN did The Godfather uncut and ESPN had the original movie "Season on the Brink" that had language worse than you'd hear from South Park.

In 2001 Comedy Central aired an episode of South Park where the word sh!t was said 162 times (they kept count on the screen). I seem to remember one of the characters saying fvck at the end of that episode too.

I remember the guys on the Man Show asking the censors how what they could and couldn't show on TV. Like, they said that a woman couldn't wear shorts that revealed more than 2/3rds of an ass or something like that. So of course they made super-small shorts that showed 1/3rd of an ass and showed that off. I dunno if its an unspoken rule or what, to be honest.

Wow. You poor, poor Americans. Wow.

Us Canucks get censorship but it doesn't usually butcher movies. Late night pr0n is all over the damn place...Showcase!!!

Just cable.

Oh, and on prime time Osbournes only has the finger and fvck censored 🙂 everything else is fine

Wow, you poor, poor canadians... you should see the TV in Japan or France. Makes what you show all the time on TV look like super-conservative religious programming

Japanese don't count! They have some whacky assed shows!

wow... this reminds me of when NBC aired the uncut version of Schindler's List... from what I remember, the brief nudity scene and language was all there... and NBC isn't cable
