Comedian gets owned

hahaha that sucks!!

k, so how do you get a crowd not to laugh then? can we not laugh @ any joke from our own will, even though it was a good funny joke? :Q

so what did the guy do and why would the audience care enough to carry out the prank? If they asked me to be a jerk like that and I didn't know the guy, then I'd have told the club owner to fsck off. That was cruel.

Lmao I'd be the one busting out laughing in the silence. If you know the person it'd be funny otherwise no.

The silence at the beginning ruined his whole train of thought.

Crowd didn't have to keep silent after that.... and they sure didn't, lol.

Judging by the terrible stage presence and lame jokes it wouldn't be difficult for anybody to remain silent during this guys routine.

I've seen a similar prank in a German show, some years ago. The pranksters installed an electric board above the stage that the victim couldn't see. They flashed an applause symbol and a laugh symbol at the most inappropriate moments, but the audience remained totally silent at the punch lines  The comedian was very irritated!

I think when you don't get any reaction at all to saying hi to the audience, and then trying 2 more times to get a reaction and nothing...it sort of unnerves you.

He sucked anyway...anyone that uses the word "like" every other word in a joke sounds like a 10th grade girl.
