I know it'll be a hit! They've switched the AGP/PCI slots so you could fir in a dustbuster if you wanted to! 😀

Hehe, I'm taki ng a flight to UK from Chicago on that day. Too bad my flight coming into Chicago arrives 45min before leaving for UK 🙁

I can't drive either but when I saw April 4th, I was like woohoo!!!!!! But then I remembered that 45min gap between the two flights...

Can some one tape it or something? I'd still like to see it

EDIT: If someone wants to tape it, they can tape only the 15minutes Anand will be speaking if you want because the whole th ing might be a pain

yeah, or at least an audio stream as well. then again, seeing a mega w/ plasma tv's and surround sound and stuff would be half the fun, eh?
 
Awesome. Can "someone" (hint hint, AnandTech) tape it and host it for the majority of us who cannot make it to those cities?

I think it'd be a great feature for the main site - MSI should help with any extra expense (I think it would be inexpensive, anyway).

You know, once I get my Driver's license, I'm gonna attend as many of these as I can because even though my dad likes computers and all, its not as much as me so he won't drive me to Chicago for seeing Anand... 🙁

I mentined this earlier, but my flight stops there when I switch planes the same day, sadly there is 45 minutes for my to get to the next plane, otherwise I'd go check it out..... aaaahhh!

I'm sure if you guys need some money to get a recorder or something for it, we'd be willing to. If it costs $50, and we get 10 people wanting it, its only $5 each.

I am flying into Chicago ONE WEEK AFTER THIS. 🙁 WHYEEEE?!??! This is torment...I just saw this at MSI's site and I'd love to attend :/

sweet - i'm going to be in the area on the 8th - are there any qualifications for coming, or is it simply open to the *registered* public?
 
I came back from this event an hour or so ago... I got one crappy picture of the event when Anand was talking, and won a door prize also(MSI USB wireless card)! Anyone wants it(the picture, that is) just PM me, or have somewhere to post it(it really is a crappy pic though)... I also got a MSI Geforce FX 5800 Ultra(empty box... but since theres only like 10 of them worldwide from MSI, its nice to own 🙂 )

Savarak, I was wondering where you went to! It was a very cool show, and Anand put on a great speech at the Chicago show. We are trying to get some pictures and maybe some of MSI's presentation on the site!

was the show a 'sell out' where they closed registration due to too many people, or were there spots available? I don't want to register for the 8th till as close to time as possible, since I don't know if I can go, but I also don't want to miss out because too many people register...
