it's "fiancee and me" not "fiance and I"

I am not an english major by any stretch. What is the rule here?

Fiancee signifies female future partner in marriage. Fiance signifies male future partner. Thus, I would have to presume either you're a woman or you're gay by the thread title.

Oh, also I is the nominative pronoun case. Between is a preposition so "fiancee and I" function as objects of a preposition. Therefore, you should use the objective case--me.

They really don't teach grammar in schools anymore, do they?

fiancee = woman, fiance = man

Fiancee went to the strip club + I went to the strip club = Fiancee and I went to the strip club.
The stripper danced in between my fiancee + The stripper danced in between me = The stripper danced in between my fiancee and me.

Irony! I bet you'll find a mistake in my post above, though.

I'm sure they taught it, the more likely problem is that I didn't listen 🙂

I always did good in math and science. English made me cry.

Hence, I'm a nerd on AT.

EDIT:

Actually by the thread title, I at least put "her" in it. So you would have a failed assumption 🙂

EDIT EDIT:

Nvm I get it. I will leave my idiocy for all to see.

This makes sense.

You find a girl like that, you marry her stat. She's a woman and those are few and far between.

Thank you! I agree.

Wow, Tweak and I can come to an agreement without a debate this time!

Heh. I really am a logical person. Just my one aspect my make certain people think otherwise (probably the majority of people).

Well, if you want to play that game, "her" is a vague pronoun. There is no indication that "her" actually refers to your fiancee. 😉

Anyway, I'm actually a Math major. It is possible to do well in both English and science. I'm one of the few people that appreciate the beautiful grammatical structure of language, though.

However, to be honest, I can't blame anyone for finding it boring. Mistakes like yours generally don't bother me too much. Knowing such intricacies of grammar is admittedly pretty useless.

Yeah I edited again prior to this reply. I see what you meant by assuming I could also be a female.

Certain things do annoy me, like using the improper form of there/their, to/too, and probably a few others.

I think the only thing that REALLY annoys me is when someone tries to correct someone else, and then makes the same mistake. Other than that, I'm not really a nazi about it, especially since I know I'm not perfect. I just at least like to try.

Ohh boy, I know I don't have to spell it out to you. I definitely don't want to send this thread in that direction...

Oh, haha, gotcha. (just out of curiosity, do you just enjoy playing the devil's advocate, or is it some other reason?)

Funny choice of words 🙂

I just say what I think, like the rest of ATOT.

Save this as evidence, because you will need it in the future.
That is all an elaborate ruse to lull you into a feeling of security.

Nahhh. I know her well enough. She likes the idea of being the home maker. Her mom was and she is ready to do so herself.

Are the thumbnails at the bottom also the pictures that the OP posted?

I think I see another picture of his girl..
