I just got around to installing Duke3d again and running it with EDuke32 and the high res pack. Awesome stuff. Brings back some memories.
I was really into the mod scene after DN3D was released. If anyone is interested, I made two mods (more commonly called total conversions back then), called MERC (1 and 2) which will work with EDuke32. You can download them here:

You'll need to create a custom loader to run them correctly with eDuke, which I have on my computer. So if anyone has EDuke up and running and is interested in playing the mods, let me know and i'll upload the loader (which is basically just a .bat file that loads the custom files). I'm still quite proud of those mods, but keep in mind that I was 15 when I began creating them.
