Just tear it out of the ground and throw it in the neighbor's yard. Their problem now.

How old are you? 15? The cable is in an easement for which you have no control. Even if it was on your property and you told them it couldn't be do you know what they would do? Remove the line and refuse to service you. You should talk to your parents about such things.

pwned by an elite.

problem solved - value increased due to foliage

Then what happens when some crusaders come looking for a shrubbery?

Seriously, I want to see pics of this green thing. Where exactly is it? I never never seen any huge cyclinder things anywhere on someone's properly that were related to their internet service. What exactly does the green thing do?

I'm still unclear as to what using your house as a node means? Want to explain that to me? Or am I missing something here...

Hey, I live in Richardson too. Let me know where you live and I'll come by and spray paint it.
Seriously thou, Richardson is a picky ass city. I bet the city doesn't even know about these things yet. They are so anal that they send you notices if your trash is out a day early or if your lawn has straglies.

The water department installed an ugly 4x8' concrete junction box in the lawn at my mom's house without her permission. I wrote a letter to the city's public works and they promptly came and ripped it out and pu the lawn back to how it was.
