If I witch from bellsouth to comcast will I have my old email still.... What can I do. B/c I want to switch to comcast but I need my BS Email accounts

I believe when you stop paying for Bellsouth internet service, youll lose the email service.
If you have to have it, just keep paying for it

Get a real email account. People change their ISP's like they change their underwear. Pick an email address that isn't affected by which service provider you choose next. Get a freaking gmail account.

well I just figured something out that BS may be able to do. My Dad has BS at His office he only has 1 out of 5 email accounts being used. If some how we can switch all the 3 emails to his account then We keep our email and have a comcast one.

Odds are they'll find someway for you to keep it but pay a monthly fee.

My advice is to activate fowarders and let everyone know that yo uare switchign NOW. Send them an email message, update your resume etc.

Use an e-mail account that isn't linked to your ISP, because there's no guarantee that you're going to have the same ISP indefinitely.

It's a lot easier to have a GMail or Hotmail or Yahoo account... they're the same no matter who your provider is.

Well, here's a thought. If you had registered your own domain, you would have the same email forever! Given you renewal your domain and hosting every year, of course. Not even gmail's guarantee. I remember linking my SETI@Home acct to some online email acct years ago. The domain went out of business and I never got the chance to change my SETI@Home password. It sucks ass.
