Comcast/Netgear Activation Issue

I recently got Comcast internet and I was sent a Netgear Router Model #WNR1000-2VCNAS. My daughter hooked it all up and then she proceeded to activate the router on her laptop before she realized it needed to be activated using my desktop computer. So she stopped the activation on her computer and put the cd in my desktop and now the router is activated. The problem we have is that now when Kate tries to use her laptop and she signs onto Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, she is redirected to a Comcast page that says "Oops, Activation Incomplete". Is there a way to completely remove her action of trying to activate on her computer? Also, I called Comcast, the router is fine. We conncected the ethernet cable directly from the modem to her laptop, still redirected to the activation page. We pinged her computer, it is accessing the internet. We just cannot get past that "oops" page. Can anyone tell me how to reset this laptop so she can just put in the password and use our wireless network at home?
