Comcast Digital Voice with High Speed Internet

I already have Comcast High Speed Internet and am thinking about getting their Digital Voice service. Will this affect my download speeds when I'm on the phone? I read reviews about their website interface not being very useful. Have they updated it yet?

No, it doesn't affect your internet speeds.

What most people don't know is that the 5Mb to 10Mb speeds Cable companies give you for internet pales in comparison to the actual data pipe coming into your house from them. We estimate we have a total data pipe of 5Gb going to each of our customers but most of that is being eaten up by TV signals.

My understanding is that it does not affect internet speed since it is actually carried on a seperate channel. I've been very tempted to move over to this as well since they added Canada into the unlimited long distance coverage.

Oh, to answer the question, it doesn't affect me. However, when I was on Verizon 3Mb DSL, it did affect me a little bit.
