Comcast "Current Cable Customer Special $19.99 for 6 months"

Jump on while you can. They also have the phone service for $33 for current customers. Customer service rep even dropped my digital starter cable package to $33 to get me closer to the $99 triple play for new customers. Good service but they were pretty tight for the last few months. To bad the pricing will only last for 6 months.

Opps! The link is below.

http://www.comcast.com/shop/buyflow/default.ashx

If your at the home page click on "Special offer! Get blazing speed" It's right below the big triple play banner.

From the link in the original post, click on the orange "high speed internet" tab, and scroll down to the 2nd item on the list to find the $19.99 for existing customers. The link won't take you there directly but that's how you find it.

About to give it a try, thanks OP cdmoore74!

BOOOOOOOOOOOO

For current cable TV customers only, to get them to subscribe to the internet service. If you already have internet with them, you don't qualify.

Even if you ask a few times nicely.

Oh well -

Actually, it does not say that.
It says:

"Do you currently have Comcast Cable Television service? (Self-Installation is only available to customers who are current Comcast Cable subscribers. New Comcast Cable subscribers are not eligible for Self-Installation.)"

Well, we are NOT new Comcast Cable Subscribers AND We DO have Comcast Cable Television service, only we just have the Internet part and not the video part.
I mean, the COMPANY is 'Comcast Cable Television Service' offering Internet service as well. At least, thats the way I take it.

is there anyway to avoid the installation fee? Aren't they basically just hooking up a modem (that I could pickup at the local Comcast payment center)?

This is old news I tried this twice as well and its a no go for current comcast internet users. I tried this several weeks ago, They wouldn't budge for me.

THis is a repost of the same deal thats been available for a few weeks now. As i posted in the old thread, call Comcast and press the button that corresponds to canceling your subscription. They will pricematch the deal even if you are a current customer w/ a current internet plan.
