Roadrunner (in WI) is onyl 5meg down for the standard package. We just got notified at work that we have some discount we can get and can get upgraded to the BUsiness Class service for a cheap price. Only difference is instead of 384 up it's 512 up. down is still 5meg. what a crock.

A 100Mbit line?

Ours does not get consistent results at ALL with those speakeasy tests. The NY one is the fastest for us (duh). But it looks like they're not getting any faster. Stupid exchange server is on 100Mb card but upstream they have OC12 or better. They don't talk to us about it fearing it will get abused. Dumb IT people.

On a 100Mbps line we get consistent results. The server uses that port quite hard. I'm sure if I stopped the exchange message attendant the bandwidth would be even better but that will cause I raise of fists and gnashing of teeth.

And as mentioned before, the speakeasy tests don't get as good or consistent results. Of course ridicule ME for knocking the test sites for testing home connections and not a commercial fiber line or whatever. Go have a tootsie roll wrapped in aluminum foil and see a dentist!
