Right now i have two partitions;

C - 20gb
D - 200gb+

If i use partition magic to combine the 2, will i lose any data?

You shouldn't but I wouldn't say it's 100%. Messing with partitions is asking for trouble IMO.

If you can backup all of your important data , then I would say go ahead and repartition. If you can't backup, then I would not do it. I tried to use Partition Magic once, and I screwed up all of my data, and once is all it takes. Lesson learned the hard way once again....

It's not hard or risky of you do it right. First - you move all the stuff you want to keep from D to C using PM8's "Magic Mover."

When that is done, you then can delete "D", and in a follow on operation, expand C to fill the empty space. It is a logical succession of events.
