combine DSL and Cable Modem bandwidth???

Does anyone know of a way to combine 2 sources of DSL and/or cable modem to double the bandwidth??? I am running Windows 2000 Advanced Server to share my existing DSL connection with several others in my apartment building. I was wondering if I got another DSL or Cable modem connection, if I could add the two bandwidths together. I know that Windows 2000 server has a service called multilink, but I think that is only for use with a Remote Access Server.

THIS is a good way.
Some software claims to work but there are additional hassles and mean a software purchase and commitment, at least for me.
I like that gateway and currently have both DSL and Cable subscription but the DSL is sitting unused, and will expire soon. So nothing will be done. But if the situation was fitting I really believe this value gateway in the Link above could be put to good use. I have to believe there is a way to do teaming with Win2K Router as well it just isn't a much studied topic. One more thing is that it gets tricky to gain a doubling of something like a download speed. Teaming works great with muliple requests to the wan so each client can get maximum performance, but as for a single request there needs to be an additional software layer to manage the transfer and IIRC download accelerators can actually provide this as they can negotiate as required if conditions are met. However that is alot of work and it would seem the real kick would be getting a doubling in the responsiveness for the single connection, which remains elusive.

That router rocks. Just keep in mind, that, you won't download twice as quickly What you CAN do, however, is download two files at the same time as fast as you were previously able to download one. IOW, load balancing. Totally rocks if you have lots of computers in your network doing lots of stuff online.
