Its not the worst, but for the money, you (the company) could have done much better. It's just bland...blah.

Not bad, not bad at all. I like the flash in the upper left. You might want to check the margins at the bottom of the page, looks like it might be a bit off. Also, the bottom section of the green box, where there is no writing, is a link, might want to see to that. Also, the green arrow at the corner of the green box, bottom left, does it have a purpose?

I know it sounds like I'm nit picking but, well, as a web designer I'm sure you understand. Other than that and the BG color may not flow, dunno could me, its a great site. Kudos to you.

feel free to nitpick...i see the same thing as you. I find it funny no where do we mention our names anymore. also none of the pictures make sense to me as we are not in a big city (thus no subway) and we are based in AZ (thus not many of those pics relate to us) and it just seems so random the pics choosen. And the little hotspots that aren't "hot" I'm not sure about

Its just all kinda new to the company, i and a couple other guys who do web work got called on another project and didnt have time to update the site so our CFO and HR person got together and hired a guy to do our website and this was how it turned out. Now theres a division between those at the company that get it (CFO and HR person) and those (like me) who dont :D

For the record, I voted 10.

The only thing I would say, less white. I hate white backgrounds, hurts the eyes. My company website will have grey backgrounds.

Just a few thoughts, for what they're worth:

1. I'm running at 800x600, so the main subway graphic pretty much takes up most of the screen. At 1024x768, there's a lot of white space and the little curvy deals going on at the right just look sloppy.
2. Is that an octopus? I know they're supposed to be really smart and all, but it actually creeps me out a little.
3. I'm a little wary of Flash where it has no business, i.e.: simply navigation. Maybe it's just a personal pet peeve.
4. Browsing around the site, the pictures are really, really irrelevant to the content. The subway on the front page makes sense, but the whole image-nav-text motif deteriorates after that.

To be honest, this seems like a company that has a web site for the sake of having a web site. There's a lot of white space which should instead be filled with actual products (right on the front page), success stories, etc. But hell, what do I know.

Okay, that octopus is -really- creeping me out. Stop waving your 8 arms, dammit!

Where do you see an octopus? Do you mean that wierd thing in the upper right? It looks like one of those brain nerve thingies (neuron or synapse, etc).

Yeah, but neurons are stationary unless acted upon by external drugs. First law of motion.
