Columns in Acrobat

Is it just me? I want to kill the 2 columns I have in a PDF file (which was generated by Ventura, but I don't think that matters...), so that what's left is just one column with the text etc.
I can't find an option or something in Acrobat that does that kind of thing... (and yes, I do have Acrobat 4, not just the reader 🙂)
